• Travel Time:  The average travel time from most resorts is only 30 minutes!  We are even close to the Airport!
• Selection:  Our site has over 8 different top rope rock climbs to try.
• Variety:  We have the most diverse climbing cliff in all of Phoenix with slab, face, overhangs, boulders, cracks, aretes, dihedrals and our 100 foot tall chimney!
• Amenities:  Most climbing locations don’t have amenities to make your rock climbing adventure comfortable.  We have bathrooms with flush toilets, drinking fountains, paved parking, sitting areas for lunch, cell service and indoor facilities to cool down or warm up.
• Access:  Our rock climbing cliff is a short 5 minute walk from our private parking lot.  This makes it easy for kids and guests to come and participate or watch.
• Staff:  Made up of seasoned rock climbing instructors, our staff are personable, friendly and dedicated to helping you achieve the best possible rock climbing experience!
• Equipment:  We provide ropes, helmets, climbing shoes, hardware, and harnesses–everything you need for a great day of rock climbing!

Half Day At Our Private Property Site: Perfect for beginning or intermediate rock climbers.  Enjoy 3 hours of top rope climbing and instruction at our private Phoenix location.  Price includes professional staff, all equipment, beautiful views of the valley and plenty of rock climbs to choose from. Half Day At North Scottsdale McDowell Mtns: Spend a half day in beautiful North Scottsdale McDowell Mountain Park.  Climb on granite domes in the heart of the scenic Sonoran Desert. Close to Scottsdale and North Phoenix and the Northwest Valley.  McDowell Mountain Park location is not private so there will be other people hiking and climbing. Full Day Rock Climbing:  Another perfect option for binning or intermediate rock climbers.  Enjoy 6 hours of top rope climbing and instruction at our private Phoenix location.  Price includes professional staff, all equipment, beautiful views of the valley and plenty of rock climbs to choose from.  Book online.

Rock Climbing Classes

Sport Climbing Lead Class:  Learn how to lead climb and set up top ropes.  Expert instruction and hands on learning make this a great class from moving from top rope climbing to leading sport climbing. Class dates found here.

Traditional Climbing and Anchors Class:  Learn how to traditional climb and build anchors.  Expert instruction and hands on learning make this a great class from moving from sport climbing to traditional climbing. Class dates found here.

Big Wall Climbing Class:  Rappel Arizona is fortunate enough to have one of the premier big wall climbers of the past few decades to teach this class.  Spend two days learning the basics of bill wall climbing, aid climbing, hauling and ascending ropes.  All equipment provided. Rock Climbing Trips

The following price structure is for private tours at our private site, no random people, no big groups, just you and us 🙂
